Description:
Rare GTUs, missing the 4.3:1 diff, taillights hood, main cat and exhaust.
The GOOD:
I have just about every other part - i.e. exterior mirrors and headlight covers, various interior and exterior trim, driveshaft, intake manifolds, alternator, air pump, fan, fan shroud, plastic belly tray, instrument cluster, steering column trim, etc. Front brake calipers were removed, but need pistons and seals. Dashboard and windshield are good - no cracks.
The NOT SO GOOD:
Engine didn't run when I purchased from a friend years ago - turned over, refused to fire. Friend and his buddy went on a painting spree - sprayed some of the interior pieces white; brake calipers, alternator and air-pump red. Most of the exterior was poorly repainted - Maaco special or similar. Window rubber trim deteriorated. Front fenders and bumper were loosened with intent to swap over to my race car, hence misaligned. Doors, roof and rear quarter panels have dents/dings. Some rust peeking through around the driver's side rear wheel well.
An FC enthusiast could restore this and have something special. Looking to sell as a whole.
FWIW, an old Carfax shows the first owner reported 1/31/1990 in Kansas City, MO. Car then spent time in KY, IN, CO before coming to Virginia where my friend's friend K. bought and registered it 1999. My friend H. never registered the car and neither did I. The last CARFAX record is 9/27/1999 104,563 miles in Purcellville, VA

Car went to a good rotary-rich home - buyer gave every indication the GTUs will be restored and put back on road. Thanks for all the positive feedback and interest!
