Description:

Sorry for the lengthy and convoluted post but I am looking to sell my1993 Mazda RX7 Touring with 112,677 miles on the odometer, mainly to pay for school and some medical bills.

The car has not been driven seriously in the past 5 years but been warmed up and driven around the block 1-2 times a month. No long drives or spirited driving recently. Does not pass smog as it sits. The vehicle was in a frontend accident in 2016 and was full repaired by insurance.

The front end accident involved the front radiator support, hood, front bumper, and driverside headlight bucket, which was repaired by an autobody shop via insurance. Frame had no damage from what I was told.

I personally wanted to finish this with a rebuild, BNR turbos, Injectors, a Haltech and a feed style body kit but unfortunately am not going to pursue it. Most of the thing to support more power is already there it just needs more time and funds. My intentions were to make it a street / autocross/ Daily driver.

When the car was running it was driving pretty reliably, water temps never rose above 200 deg F and oil was consistently at 180 deg F. Boost pattern was strong before the low compression symptoms, solid 10-810 pattern with no drop up to redline.

Engine / Trans / Exhaust
Stock ecu, block and twins. Engine needs a rebuild due to low compression (front and rear rotors are all around low 80's on ea. face) I have not compression checked the engine with a digital compression tester but using the "poor man's" method on a regular compression tester. Engine smokes white upon start up but clears up, smells heavily of fuel.

All the interior is there as it was converted to black at some point in the past but there are some things that are broke / need attention. some parts are still the original tan like the seats and the covers by the ECU and dead pedal. There vehicle was in a front end accident that was repaired by insurance, but the paintwork never matched the OEM paint due to the vehicle being wrapped. The OEM clearcoat was peeling in some areas and it was decided to wrap the vehicle in Matte Olive Green vinyl wrap.
