so i was wondering if the s5 tail lights would fit on my s4

Did you try to search this topic? It's well documented over the last 35 years

In a nutshell just be aware you will need to either bend or cut some minor metal structure on the body to clear the lights. Also you will need the matching center license plate section, and convertible and couple lights are different.
