What FD Tail lights are these?

Can't post in the FD section yet, so I'll try here. What aftermarket tail lights are these? I like the JDM three circle tails but hate the OEM smoked plastic they used. Thanks!

I believe these are 95 to 02 spec tail lights. The center carbon fiber section is either custom or a wrap or a cover over wing.
The center section is the 3rd brake light.
A common misinformation is they are referenced as 99 spec taillights.
When these were originally found on the 95-96' models in Japan and else where but the USA.
Yes they are smoked oem from the factory. Although we already know about the wide use of smoked taillights.

Cheers,

They seem to be some form of aftermarket taillights imitating the "99" taillights. The "99" lights might be seen on earlier models, but perhaps that is as a result of a switch. The 1999 year model was began in production in late 1998. The production from that point on is often referred to as Series 8 (although this might not be an official designation). Series 8 commonly refers to the final two versions of the car: Version 5 and Version 6. JDM Vin include a final six numbers. The first number of these designates the versions. i.e.: FD3S 500833 would be a Version 5.

If you are looking for clear lenses, there seem to be a number of aftermarket choices readily available on ebay for reasonable price. These seem to be avoided by our crowd however.
