Upgrading intercooler.

Looking to upgrade my intercooler on my rx7 fd.

Have been looking at godspeed intercoolers for a cheap solution.

Anyone have opinion's on godspeed?

I agree. Learn to search, especially on topics like this that you could easily anticipate have already been covered. But this will get you started (From the 3rd. Gen. Section)---> https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...cooler-818046/
The thing to remember when it comes to any intercooler (IMO) is that they're only as good as the duct.

One caution though.... while there are exceptions, generally speaking, "cheap" and "solution" don't go together when it comes to the FD.

i agree with you, so i don't want you to think this is me picking on you. however, what i will ask is in the future, when you do tell a newbie (in this section) to search on a beaten-beyond-death question like this, try to provide a link as a token of good faith.

as i understand it, this IS supposed to be a safe haven for them until they are allowed to venture into other sections. however, it is for new members though. there are some people that have been here long enough to know better, and they occasionally post in this section because they feel they can use the cover. feel free to tell them SEARCH and leave it at that. :)

Greddy, Blitz, M2, PFS are all good stock mount intercoolers. :) If you go with the Mostly Mazda one, you may have to either relocate your battery or get a smaller one. Also, make sure that duct is intact and not too leaky.

The LAST thing I'm trying to do is get rid of my Blitz smic. It took a good long while to find one in this condition and I ain't letting it go anytime soon. I'm just tossing a few reputable names out there so the OP can keep an eye out.

Just in case I gave anyone the wrong idea. :)

No worries Natey. You probably didn't see it, but the mod post was aimed at a noob who used his first and second posts on the forum to try and sell his intercooler.

While we're at it...and since you mentioned PFS, I'll give them an endorsement. IIRC, about 2.5 times larger than stock and one of the best ducts out there. Consistently decent IAT's. FWIUS a picture in my profile page album.

Please don't copy and paste from some ad. It suggests you don't really know what the hell you're talking about. Moving from this forum and doing that will only bring you grief.
And FWIW, the KS "twin-core" design has got to come with a huge amount of pressure drop. That means 10 psi might be going in but significantly less going out to the engine. And that's NOT efficient. It might be better than the stock IC, but that doesn't make it good.
