TII Swapped Vert, Not running correctly
I have an '88 Vert with an '87 TII engine just recently swapped everything over.
I am running a stock S5 turbo with Rtek 1.8 720cc injectors all around. Custom FMIC setup with blow-through AFM and simplified throttle body. Engine has a total emissions delete and all the block-off plates. Simplified vacuum system to go with the above. I am using the Stock N/A wiring harness to run the engine. Okay so the issue is that the car will not idle, has a hard start, and will not rev properly. To me it sounds like one rotor. I had all the injectors cleaned and flow tested, wired in new injector clips. I have tried replacing the CAS (three times!), even re-timed the engine and still no results. The engine still sounds like it has great compression on all rotors. The donor car had none of these issues so I am pretty stumped. So think anyone can chime in here? Any ideas are welcome :icon_tup: I have a video and will be uploading soon! |
It would be hard to tell without the video. Maybe a bad ground wire connection but I'm not really sure about the grounds and such

get the wire colors to the injectors and see of they match to the Locations.
I did a N/A to TII swap where the Injectors were switched and it was Hell! SATCH may jump in to tell you colors on the wires,if he sees this. |
