So I'm doing a rebuild/upgrade on a low km JDM convertible. I purchased the throttle body from Rotary works and have installed it. Here is my issue, it requires the TPS but there is no way that I can see the one from the car fitting. On the rotary works website it appears to be a fd sensor. Thanks for the help.

the tps pictured on the rw website isnt from an fd..... i can tell you that much. the fd tps plug is a little more round than the one pictured. whats the fitment issue youre having? can you post some pictures?

The throttle position sensor is totally different. As you can see from the old unit it's an external unit. The new throttle body has a short shafts.

That throttle body needs a butterfly that is on the end of an old FD throttle body.On the old FD TB shaft that hits the TPS.
Then you can put an FD TPS On the new RW throttle body.

..and another tip is that you can run the FD TPS on an S4 Harness if you change the wiring by creating a patch harness between the FD TPS and the S4 TPS connector on the Harness.
You can find the Pin out info of the FD TPS in the Haltech section and then look up the S4 TPS Pin out.
