there's a gasket for the tail light? maybe that's why mine is leaking lolz

I am assuming you have a coupe, and not a convertible...

The Taillight gasket P/N for all FC's is FB01-51-156

The license plate light gasket P/N is FB01-51-157

You need two of each to replace the gaskets on all the rear coupe lights.

awesome :) thanks. i did look at the fiche's but i really couldn't figure it out. but thanks again!!

another question is.... do you know why the lenses separate? it looks like a common thing with the FC. how can i avoid that? im tired of water entering the housing through the separation.

The lens is held on w/ some epoxy. You can heat the whole tail light assembly in an oven (I think people use around 150-200 degrees?) or with a heat gun / hair dryer, then pry the lens off. While the epoxy is hot, move it around for a better seal, then press the lens back on. This should help reseal it so water stays out.

actually a type of Hot glue... not epoxy...

And if it is leaking, it has been taken apart and not put back together at the right temperature.

is Japans part numbers the same as America?

question, does that p/n apply to verts too?

Yes I realize IceMark (RX-7 Master/God) said all FCs, but he also specified coupe over convertible. So, just looking for clarification.

The parts fiche doesn't specify that the PN is for coupe or vert only, and that gasket covers a common area of the two types of lights. They only differ on the inner edge, where the vert lights stop and the coupe lights extend further. I would assume it's the same, but you can look through the fiche yourself too.
