RX8 AC compressor, condenser on FD?

Hey guys im doing some reading as to what good replacement parts would be for the FD's AC components. so far ive found that the condenser is compatible with the FD but will need to have to retrofit the connections at the condenser. Would i be able to use the rx8 conpressor and the evaporator core as a direct replacement for the FD?

The RX8 condenser in factory FD configuration will require quite a bit of work to fit and yes, adapting the factory FD lines to work with the RX8 fittings will require quite a bit of work as well. The compressor mounts just fine, JDL makes the adapter brackets. the evaporator core is an unlikely direct fit. Never tried fitting one but those things are typically made to fit with X dash and Y firewall shape. If you REALLY wanted, you could probably get it to fit but you have to be ready to do whatever it takes lol.

We have done a few RX8 AC conversions and each one is unique. The only FD part that remains is the evaporator. Everything else is either RX8 or custom. We will be working on a plug and play kit next year but that's next year.
