PD fire repairs
I recently bought an '87 n/a that had a fire from the leaking pulsation damper. The previous owner put the fire out before very much damage occurred. I have the entire intake system removed and just received my wire harness and oil injectors yesterday. I just ordered the teflon tubing suggested in another thread to use as OMP lines. I have a new middle intake manifold as well as a new primary fuel rail and injectors. Basically I think I have all of the hoses and gaskets needed to start putting the car back together, but before I do I would like some input on anything I should take advantage of while I have everything exposed and any tips that may make re-assembly easier. I cleaned everything thoroughly and have my 6 port actuators moving pretty freely. I will also be replacing my O2 sensor, plugs and wires, thermostat, and all belts while I'm under the hood. I live in California and need to get this thing smogged as soon as possible so all of that stuff is still in tact. I have a temporary sticker that expires at the end of this month and have limited days available to work on the car, so I need to start putting it back together soon. Thanks in advance.
