New to rx7 need help
Just got a fd , i have two questions
1. How the f"$! Do i use the FC commander 2. How do i tow this thing if it breaks down? I cant seem to find a spot on the car where a tow hook would be mounted |
* Google knows all: Apexi Power FC Hand Commander instruction manual (RX7 FD3S)
* Tow strap around the front crossmember would be my first choice if pulling onto a flatbed...along with boards or race-ramp due to the low profile of the car. * Not my car, but I have the same tow hooks front and rear. They're produced aftermarket of course. Mine were made by Rennenmetal. I don't they're around any longer. But I see them come up now and then in the 3rd Gen. Parts for Sale section. The rear required the factory bracket used as a tie-down for shipping. Edit: Just realized I didn't attach photos.... http://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/...psp9pnvktz.jpg http://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/...pszgodmmwq.jpg |

The rear tie-down hoop requires the OEM tie-down bracket which bolts to the chassis of the car. That's the black portion that you see in the picture. I've only seen those brackets for the LR.
