IAT and Tune

If I replace my stock IAT with a fast reacting IAT will it effect my tune?

No. I can't explain why but no.

Not a tuner, but I think the range and readings don't change from what they would have been with the old sensor. They just adjust quicker to changes. If intake air temps were say...40 C. with the old one, they will be 40 C. with the fast reacting version. If the temp changes to 38 C. the ECU will simply get that reading sooner than it would have with the OEM sensor.

Logic: If it didn't affect your tune then why would you spend your time and money on it?

Other questions to consider:
- Does the the new IAT have the same resistance curve as the original?
- If the engine is turbocharged, then how much acceleration enrichment and deceleration enleanment is currently programmed into the ECU?
