FB Rx7 electrical issues

Hey guys got a question. Got a new battery for my 82 FB Gsl the wires came out of the negative battery terminal I put them back in. Since that happened I can't start the car and the wipers turn on when the key is in on position. No other electrical components work like pop up headlights. Any idea of a fix?

You need to get a new negative battery cable. While you're at it, replace the positive one also. The factory negative battery cable has a "lug" that attaches to the driver's side shock tower. New aftermarket battery cable doesn't have this so get a two-foot cable with ring terminals that can attach to the battery negative cable bolt and the location on the shock tower. Get the cables that are 2 gauge.

I got my last ones are Tractor Supply.

Did you get the whole terminals at Tractor supply or just the 2 foot cable?

Right on. And a quick reminder... Ohm's law is V=iR.. So if you have a bad connection, even 1 ohm, when you try to run 40amps through it... well there's no voltage left for the starter or anything else than needs much more than a few amps... like wipers. Any they probably run a bit slow. The 12v dc system is very sensitive to bad connections, and especially in older cars, bad grounds.
