Hey there. New to the forum, just picked up an 86 fc3s shell. Wanting to do an engine swap, but I live in a small town in South Dakota. Not a whole lot of supply on engines around here. Considering purchasing one through a site like JDMEngineworld.com or somewhere similar. Anyone have any bad experiences with them, or any better suggestions? Right now I'm leaning toward an SR20. The car's going to be a daily driver, so I want something slightly more reliable.
Thanks for the help!

Welcome, an engine from any reputable shop will be fine. So long as they have good standing online then go for it. I ordered a k20 for my civic through some shop in new York ive never heard of. I just typed their name in google and nothing negative came up on forums or anything and they've been around for a while. I dont remember the name of them but I found them on ebay. Jdm new york or something like that.
I'd be leery of ANY rotary engine importer that does not have a good reputation on a forum such as this. Any such engine will probably need a rebuild. I'd spend my money more wisely and contact an engine builder for this forum for a rebuilt one before going to any importer.
