Dumbfounded T2 s4
 

Ok well I am drawing a blank I got a rx7 awhile back an its been sitting awhile and the guy before me had cut the a section off the engine harness got a new one then tried to install it having issues finding out what goes where its the section from the battery to alternator then to the starter and by the battery there are 2 wires figured they were grounds but nope put a battery in and tryed to put it to the frame sparks flew ha so no grounding do they go to the ignitor packs?

the battery harness has a small black wire that will go to the Engine bay fuse box.If you are getting sparks to ground then that tells you it is Positive,so hook it up as a positive,to the nearest point of the fuse block at the front of the car.
The leading coils only have a small 2 wire connector on the body harness to feed it,so no other wires from the battery harness are involved with the coils.

Okay but what about the other wire I got a new harness and the pervious one had been cut right where those wires are coming from

use a ohm meter and touch the positive battery post and look for continuity on those wires.
The positive from the battery splits to the alternator and also to the fuse block.
Note: the positive is the one that does NOT have the yellow stripe.It is plain black.

Those two ring terminals look like the ones that bolt to either side of the main 100amp fuse on the fuse block. The "Main" fuse.

Alright thanks guys hopefully today if its nice going to work on it i dont know if there is another harness for just the coils cause there are no wires going to or from coil packs but i will worry about that later just trying to get power in the car

Well I put the wires on and we got power some of the interior lights and headlights tail lights & hazards so I fix my main issue with just getting power from the battery to the car but now I need to find out what wires are not connected right because there's no power to windows sunroof turn signals and just basically ignition and basic dash lights and stuff like that

i got the blinkers sunroof and some dash lights but still need to get the starter figured there was this green little wire that i thought it was the boost gauge well hooked it up an i herd a click sound then somewhat like a computer i have fuel coming from tank so glad about that but noticed that i have a pretty big leak behind the intake. It is like a bolt behind is not completly screwed in or something but that is a later issue

there is a single wire that goes to the solenoid on the starter and it has a female spade connector on it,
Either green or blue wire.( forget now).
That wire gives 12 volts to the solenoid when keyed to start so it can engage the starter,
NO wire connected?.then no Signal from switch to starter..no start.

What about wireing to the coils it looks like I may have to rewire cause it looks like female to female or male to male will that affect being able to crank over?

Got the gas leak situation kinda figured but wonder if the banjo bolt mod is only for the s5 I really don't feel like paying 100+ $ for the fpd to go bad again in a year or even risk a fire because of it

If I am right the coil connector is under the 2 plasti-covered ribbed wires that you show in the pic.
2 wire white connector...harness connector for leading coil.
Look at the coil itself it will tell you.

Kind of hard for me to exactly tell you as I have done so many mods I got rid of the stock coils long time ago.

I am going to have to switch the wire connector because its female to female connection. Is there a difference between N\A coils an turbo coils

No,there is not.The coils are the same between turbo and NA.
As I mentioned it "looks like" the connector.I may be wrong as your engine bay is not exactly complete.
You shoould be able to get wiring diagrams off of Foxed.ca
Most connectors are specific so they will show you what they look like and how they are wired.(colors)
