Are 1999+ oil metering nozzles compatible with earlier 1993-1995 oil metering pumps ?

Basically wondering if I should clean my old 1993 oil metering nozzles to use with an oil metering pump from thr same year .. or if supplied new 1999+ nozzles will work ?
I know many just go with block off plates + premix, but was hoping to hear from buyers of new blocks who investigated this. I heard Mikuni OMP's had higher flow rates, so I suspect 99+ nozzles would possibly have smaller orifice sizes ?
I read that there were differences from 1993 to 1994-95, but that may have been oil feed lines, not nozzles.
Thanks, if you can shed light on differences or flow rates.

From reading this thread https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...ozzle-1071724/ it sounds like they’re compatible...since only the new ones are available after 1998.
Haven’t really studied it but I do know nozzle orifice was made smaller, presumably to improve dispersion. But IIRC they’re also a little more prone to plugging up. You might try searching in the 3rd Gen. tech section for more info.

And yeah, a lot of stuff out there about cavalierly deleting the OMP and just premixing. But I think that’s changed over the years to be much more situational. In my particular situation I do both.
Actually you might just ask a mod to move this to the tech section for a wider audience and maybe someone who can answer you’re flow rate question
