So I have a rx7. I can get it to start and It when it warms up all the problems start...
It misfires/stalls/Popping from exhaust has no power past 3800 rpms... it can barley go past 5000 rpms... The car always dies.. then when I try to start it again it makes a weird screeching sound when cranking! Has super rough idle I can only get it to run if i turn the idle screw to make it idle at 1500. I WANT HELP PLEASE, It's my first car.

When I got it it worked great. Then one day it all just went to crap! What could have caused all this??

 

Sounds like you either lost a vacuum hose, or you have an ignition issue.

I would start by confirming that the spark plugs are sparking. If that checks out, then start looking for a vacuum leak.

How can I find a vacuum hose diagram? Yeah my spark plugs are working what else should I look for in the ignition system?

 

Ignition timing? Sounds like it could also be a fuel/filter/pump issue due to the 5k stall. Not sure about the sreeching sound tho.

I changed the fuel filter, the pump lets gas out when i turn the ignition on. no it doesnt work
and i have no clue how to do ignition timing.
