10th Anniversary Question
Hi there,
I have a 10th Anniversary RX7 with just 47000 KM on it, should i keep it stock and prolong its rarity? Or will modding it not decrease the value enough to matter? Thanks |
10th Anniversary Question
Stocker, They are getting harder to find each day
Update the suspension, brakes, and a THROUGH tuneup, and keep the sun off it, its value will only rise |
..heh..at 47,000 Km..you got the ONLY one working..lol!
I'd tell you what to do with your car but it's your car and not mine..so really any given opinion would not really matter, would it??.:dunno: |
Where to sell 1979 RX-7 10th anniversary edition other than salvage yard? One owner
Engine runs but needs brake master cylinder rather not sell to salvage yard - rust hole on rear driver wheel well. 175000. Turbo on it now but have saved original equipment . Any suggestions

The 10th anniversary edition model was produced in 80, not 79. It was a cosmetic package applied approx. 8000 cars in total, including the RX-7, as well as the 626 and GLC. (exact numbers / mix among models was not specified) All three models were outfitted in the same livery: Mazda Renaissance Red, pinstriping, and a medallion with the Roman numeral "X".
Here's a link to a thread that shows a little more: https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-gene...ion-s-1087782/ There is a market place section here if you want to advertise it F/S. |
Makes me wonder if this thread was referring to the 1980 10th Anniversary RX-7 or the 1988 10th Anniversary RX-7. But if anyone is reading this and wondering the same thing as the original poster, keep the car as original as possible. The value is in the originality. There may be some parts that are not available new or price practical such as an exhaust system and infeel as though adding a Racing Beat exhaust system would not hurt the value.
