1 20lb propane tank (at about $11 or so to refill) gives you anywhere from 8-14 hours depending on what setting you have it on. Mine works great, takes the chill off within 5 minutes, has you sweating within 15 minutes, no matter how cold it is outside. I have a 25x25 detached garage and I've never had a complaint about the cold since I got this thing. |

Anthony,
You can always hire me to come up and hook ya up with a heater! :) If you have natural gas, you can run a line to a heater positioned at the ceiling pointing below up to 50,000BTU's. |
I just insulated the rafters with plastic and used an electric oil heater to heat my 1 car garage. I was able to work in Jeans a a t-shirt during the coldest part of last winter.

I have a very small garage, about ft of space in every direction with an fc parked in there. I used 2 cheap electric heaters from target, one at each end. I have plywood over all the doors and windows to. Kept me very toasty.

I just picked up one of those 35,000 BTU Reddy heaters, I have to say, i'm a little disappointed, however the garage i'm using it in IS kinda big. It says it should be able to heat 820 sq feet, but in 32 degree weather, the warmest i could get it was 58 degrees.

they also smell horrible^^^^^^^
