Where's Epsom? Haha.....I know of a Red 87 Turbo II for sale up here in Wellington Hill for $5500 if anyone is interested......

tworotorguy 06-01-07 09:28 PM

haha, yeh epsom is sandwiched between like chichester and pembroke and northwood, like 10 minutes east of concord

boriqua51371 06-01-07 10:22 PM

where is this fc you speak off ? is this on the craigs list ?

tworotorguy 06-01-07 11:04 PM

i dont think its on craigslist. i first saw before winter parked in front of a garage at an auto repair shop in northwood. it was under a cover in the back all winter, then disappeared this spring. i found it at a house in epsom with a for sale sign in the window. its red with stock wing, possibly lowered w/ black rims. looks in very fair condition

Or if you are talking about the one I am referring to, it is my neighbor. He keeps trying to get me to buy it since he knows I have the FD. Everything is original and 87K with original motor. Car is in VERY good shape. He's putting a new exhaust and clutch in it soon. The clutch finally gave out.

boriqua51371 06-02-07 05:50 PM

i seen that car infact i know where he bought it foreing , he bought it from shawn he used to have dealer on elm st and used to sell parts for hondas ect. infact i worked on that car and i would not buy that car cause i know the history. that car was beat on really bad by shawn the turbo has quiet of bit of play and the rear end is not in the best of shape.

Looks like the cliche' Fast and the Furious setup. Can you see your motor internals as they start blowing seals too?

Is anyone here planning to got to Rotorfest this year?

tworotorguy 06-03-07 08:31 AM

Rotorfest 4 me, got that weekend off. went in 2003 and 2004, so im long over due to go again!

I actualy thought about photoshoping the 'danger to intake manifold' into the screen.. but started to drink so fuck that

i cant see the internals, but i can run the realtime display of my logging program where you can make custom alerts.. maby ill make one to say just that

realized today i have to make a mount for a trackball on the side or something, or my pass will probbably bitch about using the touchpad in a car

foreignracer 06-03-07 03:46 PM

We need to start a caravan of people from here that are going and head south and pick up the Mass guys. I plan on going if everything continues to go well with the FD. I am going to try to get it to Synaptic3 Engineering this week to see how those guys do with a tune. Hopefully someone there knows the PFC's.

CrackHeadMel 06-03-07 04:48 PM

call ahead, i was told they deal specifcly in electromotive ems's

foreignracer 06-03-07 06:20 PM

Thanks. Yeah, I was planning on giving them a shout tomorrow to see what they can tell me. I am crossing me fingas!!:fingersx:

boriqua51371 06-03-07 07:22 PM

try tezntune i think they work with many other ecus. i still havent decided yet but i have an appt with tezntune in hampstead. i spoke to synaptic and their prices are a bit on the high side.

CrackHeadMel 06-03-07 07:27 PM

Thanks, looks like they are set up for ricers more than rotors. Will give them a call anyway.

they get more honda's than anything because i believe thats what they specialize in. however max (teztntune) is not foreign to rotarys

boriqua51371 06-04-07 12:25 PM

i spoke to rick on trick where max works and he seems to have understanding of rotaries but he states that max has better knowledge of them from what max says. according to rick they only had a few rotaries there that they could count on one hand and they were all fd's if that helps.

Yeah, I called them earlier and had a conversation with Rick. He is pleasant to talk to so I might give them a try. I plan on running down there Wednesday, possibly tomorrow if the weather is decent. They said they don't have too much experience with PFC's either. It seems like they might be my only shot around though. The only problem............$110 an hour for tuning. This could hurt the wallet!

Anyone know how much Symatic charges?

OtakuRX 06-04-07 12:51 PM

So what's going on for a caravan to Rotorfest??
