PA KD Rotary?

Has anyone been at KD Rotary in the past few days or have they spoken to Dave since Tuesday. The reason I am asking is, I dropped off my car on Sunday and spoke to Dave on Monday. since then I have not heard from him. I left a message each day to find out the status of my car. I know Dave is busy and by himslef, but usually he calls back when he has a chance.

The point is, has anyone spoken to him. I was wondering if he closed shop for an emergency or something because I never had it take him this long to respond back.

Yes Skip has been gone for a while now. I trust dave with my car and yes he is top notch. I guess its since my car has not been running for a few months and i just had a chance to have it towed up to him this past Sunday, I was just hoping I would have it back this week, but I haven't heard from him since Monday.

It's funny, I see a trend.....KDR is down to just Kim and Dave, RP is down to just Chris and Ari, and Ihor and I are a two man show. I'm sure KDR has people working the phones like RP does, but generally speaking, all the technical and mechanical work is performed solely by the owners.

Good help is hard to find indeed......

That is ABSOLUTELY true. I couldn't imagine being a manager. If you want something done right (the first time) do it yourself.

I found out the news yesterday from Dave. I didn't want to say anything about it incase Dave wanted to keep what happened to himself, but my condolences go out to Dave, Kim and their family also. There are no words to say when something like this happens.

That's a shame, Dave has been going through so much the last 6 years. I really hope life starts dealing him some better cards.

My condolences as well. I've dealt with Dave for many years before I learned to work on the car myself and one thing I learned is he will do the work right. You just have to be patient because he is always swamped. Drop the car off and it will get done.
