Circuit Track location

I tried looking through the forums but wasn't able to find any information. Sorry if this is a repeat. I'm currently looking for a circuit-style track in PA, NJ, or NY. I found New Jersey Motorsports Park and Watkins Glenn. Do you guys have a suggestion on which track is best for someone just starting to get into racing?

Pocono International has multiple road course layouts. Drove there once, and I really enjoyed it. About 40 minutes from Allentown.
While more related to a tarmac rally stage than a road course, there is also the Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association that holds events on public roads that have been shut down for events if you want to compete with your car. You could also look into SCCA and NASA time trial competition.

Lime Rock Park, Pocono Raceway, NY Safety Track, Monticello Motor Club, Raceway Park aka E Town.

Or autox at Meadowlands, Nassau Coliseum, Warminster PA, etc - see autox4u.com

Depending on where in PA you are, you might be just as close to Summit Point in WV, or Dominion Raceway in VA. VIR in southern VA is a little further away, but worth it.

Are you trying to get into racing or just driving your street car on track?
For driving your street car on track, google HPDE and find organizations that run HPDE aka track days in your area. Or go to the website of the tracks mentioned and look at their calendar or events page to find what organization has rented the track on any given day and contact them about running HPDE.

If you are looking actual wheel to wheel racing, find your local SCCA or NASA chapter website.

Depending on where you're at, there is also Pitt Race near Pittsburgh. It's a very nice complex.
