carbs or efi

i want to keep my car na and i was just wondering which setup is the best http://www.rotaryshack.com/fuelsystems.html. EFI ITB's or ITB carbs. also if there are the best brands and if anyone has pics of one of these setups in their cars. thanks

simple answer in terms of function is EFI.

however, different people place premiums on different characteristics/criteria. what are your premiums?

All else equal fuel injected is better.

efi will give you better gas mileage, and a slightly broader powerband.

high rpm power, is mostly a sizing issue

A Nikki carb can give better fuel economy if they are sized and tuned correctly. Carbs atomize the fuel a lot better than an injector (large enough for a rotary) ever could.

Note I mean OEM Nikkis, not f'ed over by some tooner d00d carb.

i like that site very informational. im planning on doin alot of autox, drift, and touge. and the car needs to be daily driven. i also have some lightened parts and a large street port so im gonna try to make most of my power from like 4500-7000 rpm

4500-7000 is stock 6 port territory. Street ports tend to be peakier than that.

In any case, you will want EFI.

carbs and turning are not the greatest combonation ever invented. turning and efi are much better

Same goes for accel/decel depending on the carb and how it's oriented. This can manifest itself in a weber setup as a rich rear rotor/lean front rotor under accel, and the reverse under braking. Not good.
