The wheels are Piaa Super Rozza's...............The fastest FD trap speed that I know of is Marc with 122 mph..........but I'm sure his car will do 130 at some point since he ran 120mph with out 4th gear.

Looks like MikeB had it last year with an 11.6 :squint:

The sad part is I ran the 11.6 with missing 3rd gear and problems with my top end.....I also still have a full upgraded fuel system that will allow me to tune up to 26lbs of boost I may or may not put in. I guess we will just have to see what happens this year.

Maybe....but that doesn't explain the 3 even burst when we did the compression test.

Next winter my project is to go forced induction. So maybe next year I can make a run at the title. This year mid 11's is probably where I will get stuck at.

Well, we are coming to an end of 07.....I improved my time to a 11.22 @ 123 with a 1.55 60ft. I was really hoping to get that illusive 10 sec time slip but the last race of the year was rained out.

The last couple years have been pretty boring when it comes to high horsepower Rotaries......Everyone who was supposed to come kick my ass has yet to get their car up and going or sold the car. Maybe in 08 we can get some cars out to have some fun. Here's a list of cars I thought had a chance to beat me........

Claus.....Titanium FD Probably has the best chance since has turbo bigger then my head! The car has been at Saridea for a couple years now. Hoping it will be done this Spring!

Derek.....Blueish Grey FD....Ah Good old Derek.....1st started out where the car would be done every two weeks and never made it out.....thats been going on for about 4 years now. But last I heard....He doesn't have the funds to finish the beast....I would have kicked his ass anyways! LOL

Kole....Silver FD The story with Kole is he was one of the first in Colorado to have his car running with a single turbo and then added nitrous.....think he ended up running a 12.1 with a 2.6 60ft or something! With slicks that might have been a low 11! But he shattered his diff all over the track and disappeared for a couple years while he became a stunt rider. Guess what! Koles car was spotted at Precision Import Repair! Looks like his car will be ready for Spring!

Brandon in Silver FD moved to NJ when car ran a 12.4......Now hes got giant turbo, Meth, and looking for 600hp. He still has Colorado license plates on his car and as soon as he beats me hes going to probably put some sticker on his car saying fastest FD with Colorado license plates or something stupid. We will see if he gets his car running like he says he will

Mark M.....in Red FD...Poor Mark....made sick power and car pulled hard as hell, but fastest pass was a 12.1 @ 128mph! I guess he can still say he had the fastest trap speed out of any Rotary in Colorado....but drag racing involved more then a good car.....driver counts too! LOL Mark parted out his car and he is officially out of the running now.

Jon (I think that was his name) had a red FD that ran 12.3 at NHRA 2 years ago but he sold car and haven't seen it since......Anyone know if that car is still in Colo?

John D....Black FD that sounds sick as hell! Not sure if he plans on drag racing it....but looks like he could run mid 11's with a Kaaz diff and some MT street ET's!

Andrew with White FC.....This Turbo II with a V mount is no joke! But never seen it at the drag strip!

Glen with Red FC in WY....This car will be nasty! 400 hp! Hes going to comeout and play with us in 08!

Doug....Red FD.......Me and Doug have had some good races! Single turbo but having issues the last 2 years.....Hope to see him out in 08!

Bringit .....Poor bringit...AKA Sean owner of Bringits.com LOL He had the car to beat me but couldn't drive it I guess....It was a FD with a LS1 and put down 600 hp from Hinsonsupercars.com He raced it at Bandimere and got a 13 or something. He ended up having to sell it and swears he will own another.....Anyway....Good old Bringit is the one the prompted me to make this post....Every year...he tells me that he will have some crazy sleeper car that will whoop me! Well, he had until Nov 4th officially to have a car that would beat me or he has to publically make a video of his defeat! So everyone......I will post it when it comes out! The only thing he was able to come out with this year was an Evo that ran 13.7 and a Wagon that ran 19's.


For 08, we do have someone new to watch out for! That's Nathan....I sold him 2 FD's that were parts cars for me that he is building a drag car now! Precision Import Repair is working on a Half Bridge for him right now. From everything that he is doing....his car will be pretty sick!

Anyways...I miss the shit talking that used to go on.....I feel lonely at these car meets that we have weekly as I'm usually the only FD!

Yea I am definitely planning to come out and play in 08 Mike. This winters project is to go stand alone, and from what Brian @ BDC said at the meet he was at this past summer, he sees an easy 75 to 85 more horse at the ground just by going stand alone. We'll have to see how close I can get to the 500 horse mark.

Damn...500 hp would be sick! It may even have more hp then mine since all dynos are different! I do have an almost brand new set of MT Street ET's that I will sell you. They have just a couple of passes made by Marc Monaco before he parted out his car with frustration!

As soon as I see the schedule come out at Bandimere, we will find a day to get all the RX-7's who want to drag race together for some heads up fun!

Oh baby.... next year you fools better watch out. The silver fd is *almost* done. Still waiting on the motor to get finished... and trying to figure out a good fuel system. Got the v-mount installed (finally). Hopefully the intercooler will be big enough for the r85 and meth. I'm still mostly worried about the drive train.... probably won't run slicks next year.... don't wanna break everything right away *cough* mike *cough*...lol.
The red FD may not ever get done... my buddy who is supposed to buy it after his sti is done (600+awhp).. but now he's saying he might move in april to new york.... so I may have a roller for sale soon (has everything including a good motor, just needs to be put together).

I might just have to pick those up from you. I'll give you a call sometime and we'll chat about them.

So when is this 600hp STI going to be done? One of my buddies also just got done building a 600hp STI that probably has like 60K in this car. One of them two should be able to take out Scuba Steve in the Springs who has the fastest STI in the state at 10.98 at PMI or 11.1 at Bandimere.

Nathan...if your going to part that car out....I need to buy the long fuse box cover at the front of the engine bay and the Drivers side vent behind the front tire.

Couldn't do it now, but also would be nice to buy a spare engine and have it built ready to drop in if mine blows up.

I'm not sure when the sti will be done, should be soon.... I guess the motor is done being built and installed, the meth injection is installed, the front mount is on and is freakn huge. The gt35r that is being run right now is blown, I'm not sure on what turbo he's gonna run though... but before the turbo blew and without the meth and with out the motor being built he got it tuned down in the springs and made like 425 hp at the wheels.

I'm gonna talk to him soon and find out if he's gonna keep the red fd or if he isn't going to be able to. If not I'll get you that fuse cover. The motor would be good as a backup motor, but it's been sitting for a while and it would be smart to go in and check the seals to make sure they arn't stuck. The motor has 35k miles on it too.
Anyhow I'm really looking forward to next season... and if my red fd gets sold in time, I'll probably completely rebuild the drivetrain and run some slicks.

What a waste of money. 60k on an sti? He is nearly at the point where he could have just bought a car that was just as fast.

I hear you on that! But the guy does live next door to Carmelo Anthony so 60K really isn't that much money to him.

At least 60K in a FD would end up being a pretty unique car, but either way a waste of money!

BS. If this guy lives next to Carmelo Anthony, then he wouldn't be driving an sti. Ive been in about a 1/4 of the houses in that neighborhood (including Anthony's before he owned it) and there is no way he would spend the money on an sti if he lived in one of those houses.
