haven't got much feedback so I'm just gonna take a guess and hope i get some turn out.


Sat 2-21 I'm having a gathering at my house, ill provide instructions later on for whoever needs em. Maybe we can do a cruise of some kind if the weather is decent- its a bit far out to take a guess on it just yet though.

im looking forward to this weekend because its supposed to be almost 50 again (above zero not below)!!!!!
Hopefully our winter meet will be graced with the same weather....

50 eh? May have to wash the FD then... At least then I wouldnt have to worry about the doors getting froze shut lol.

So I am sure I missed some stuff but I figured out a "Grand total" for the FC and its build: ~3500


Not sure if you guys are following the build thread at all but I have it all broken down.

I will make it up E, calebs benefit is the next weekend so im free.

i dont have a rx7 but ill be throwing it down with the old audi

Did some work on skele too:

got the carpet and seats mocked up and started trying to install the chassis harness.

ignore the red seats those are just there so i could sit down... lol

I am just mocking up now so i can attach a battery and test everything(blower motor, sunroof, windows, headlights etc) then ill button it all up

Its ready to go now, not sure if the FD will get to the meet though. Just depends on if he comes and gets it lol.

The 7th should be ok caleb's bday is the 8th so i wouldnt be able to make it that day.

Me and brian are pretty much down whenever so just let us know

7th should work for me. I'll hopefully have the Daihatsu spruced up a little more and with a properly working radio and have it ready to make the trip. Just need a few more nice days of this weather. :)

well i was gonna try to sell it to make up for the trailer moving costs at market value but we can figure something out since u hooked me up on the shell.

that sounds good, but i gotta get this thing stripped and hauled away quick to make room for Jason's FD so ill just pull it.

i should also mention the car is inside a heated garage right now, so i guess its warmer now if that helps;)

Ian, I did PM you back a few weeks ago when you asked where I lived. But I never heard back. My internet connection is kind of hit or miss sometimes. For the record, I'm outta Bettendorf. I have two SA's a 79 and an 80, both stock. Right now, I'm deployed to Iraq and probably won't be back untill late 09 or spring of 2010. Sorry, I don't have any pictures to post, the Government banned use of all thumb drives in Gov computers last fall and I didn't bring a personal computer with me. Anyway, that's my story.
