Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone from the forums is going to be attending Gridlife at Gingerman in MI this year? The dates are may 29-31.

I'm from IL, south chicago, close to i-80 and would be down for setting up a caravan to all cruise there together.

Also wondering if anyone would be actually participating in any of the racing events?

 

I originally was planning to go as I was invited by a few locals, but now have scheduling conflicts as I will be at Raceway Park Englishtown that weekend. It should be a good turnout though.

 

I'm thinking about going this year, not sure yet though. I would be coming from Milwaukee. When the event is closer I'll have a better idea and ill post back here.

 

What's the event about? I might be interested.

 

Its a full weekend of racing and music festival. They have drifting, time attack, and road racing for beginner, intermediate, and advance. Also have classes with a instructor for beginners. Or you can just go watch if you want. Check their fb page or YouTube the video from Last year.

 

I really would like to go to Gridlife. Not sure if i'll be able to that soon after getting back from SOWO but i'm sure gonna try

 

I may have a extra ticket if they sell out. dont know if my girls nephew will be tagging along with me or not. Will keep this posted

 

good to know. as of now it's doubtful ill go to gridlife, but there's a slight chance i wont make it to sowo so if i dont, ill do gridlife for sure

 

So looks like i have extra gate entry and beginner class tickets. FD blew coolant seals. friends wrx blew front diff, and our DSM is getting built but hoping to be done by track day. If anyone knows someone that wants to do a saturday beginner class/ 20 min session let me know. ill give you the tickets at my cost we just need to contact gridlife and change the vehicle info.
