I finally got my tach working.
I was playing tach out wire from MT and that didn't do nothing and I saw one post from haltech forum that he used leading IG out wire to connect factory tach. so I connect MT10s leading out (grey/red) to factory tach wire (yellow/blue from smaller yellow stock connector) and now factory tach works.. hope this help for somebody.. |
yes it does help alot. What about the oil and coolant temp mine dont work either can I do the same and tap in the Microtechs wire and into the stock ones on the yellow connectors??? It seems that simple but want to make sure.

Coolant temp you will have to run another wire from the sending unti all the way back to were your ecu used to be. You will connect it to the yellow/blue and it should be on the same connector as the windshield wipers. Oil I don't know, I have an aftermarket I use exclusively for that.

I thought the yellow/blue wire on the stock connector was for the tach??? When you refer to the sending unit do you mean the actual sensor?? -Thanks |
remember this wire is not on the main ecu connector but on the windshield wiper harness where it plugs in at the passenger side kick pannel and yes from the actual sensor to that yellow wire.

still stuck here, which color wire is the oil pressure on the stock harness??? also where exactly is the tach wire on the stock harness also because I thouht I had it working but no go. Any help would be appreciate need this info ASAP |
ok i hope this helps where the trailing coil pack used to be there is a two pin or three not sure but on the plug you will see a yellow and blue wire that is for you fac tack splice that and the blue grey wire now the oil pressure sending unit there should be nipple coming off the unit and on your body harness on the driver side you should see one single wire with a rectangle shaped connector and there is a little slot on the one side just slide it onto the unit and thats you roil pressure
