Why is microtech better?

Please enlighten me on the microtech vs. power fc battle. I have a power fc but am told the microtech can be tuned more precisely to achieve higher power numbers. Is this true?

I'm not sure on my numbers seeing as how I never got the chance to dyno with my Power FC but I can tell you the car runs smoother with the Microtech than it ever did with the PowerFC.

They can reach the same end result with the microtech falling short as far as a lot of driveability perks; closed loop and voltage drop compensation to name two. It's not 'better' just a different approach.

Peak power is going to be about the same with any EMS. However, tuning makes a difference, so if your local tuner only knows how to tune a Microtech EMS, then maybe it would be good to switch if your PFC tuning is way off and you see no way to make it any better.
