For cars with modifications it is impossible to have a base map for them all.2 exact cars with similar modifications will require 2 totally different settings.
The base map is purely designed to get the car started & running so it can be taken to an experienced tuner to be sorted out properly.

Not only that, but when we ordered ours, we were asked what modifications we already had which helped Jon with the base maps. If you add things later, youll have to retune, like any ECU.

I'm going to have a problem on mine. I cancelled my big 91 T2 buildup and am switching it to my 93. I need to get a base map for a 93 5psd (cone intakes, DP, MP and catback... otherwise stock). Where can I DL a base map for the car to get it going?

Smile Microtech Mapping

I have an 88 TII and I have just installed a Microtech
LT-8 and received maps from rotarymotorsports in Langley, B.C. The owner of the shop just returned from Austrailia and received training from Anthony Rodrigues. Anthony is one of the developers of the Microtech and he tunes Abel Ibarra's car and also tunes cars for Siguel racing. I'm pretty sure he sells the maps if you send him your microtech just like pettit does with the stock ecu. Currently I have mapping up to 20 psi of boost and 8000 rpm.
