hey all i got ta lt8 in my 89 t2 now and the only problem im havin is the water temp dont work, its coming back as an error. first off what sensor did yahll use? i used the two wire in the back of the water pump. is thatt he correct one? if it is then the plug is getting power and ground, via a test light. so does that mean that the sensor is bad? any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

 

That is the right sensor. Check your connection, the plug might not be seating properly on the sensor. You can pick up new sensor connections at summitracing, they are the same as injector plugs.
