vacuum reading

I have an 88 rx7 turbo with a microtech. Is it normal for it to display 2inches of vacuum while the engine is off? It reads about 19inches of vacuum when idling.

reset the vacuum to 0 while the car is off. maybe the altitude affected it?

I'm kind of new to the microtech. How do I reset(calibibrate?) the vacuum to 0?

Thanks

all its doing is showing the amount of atmospheric pressure difference there is between your location and sea level. it is nothing to be worried about.
