The Unified LT Impression Thread

Speak up, guys. Now that you've installed and begun to tune your Microtech-equipped cars, let's get a repository of impressions and opinions going.

What things about the MT stick out as being the best?

What's the worst?

What problems have you had, and was the solution easily found and implemented?

If you have experience with both the LT8 and the E6K, how do the two compare? What does one have over the other?

If you had it to do over again... would you still get a Microtech?

I think the ecu is great!!! Now that I've had some time to figure things out, I am able to reasearch what the engine probably needs and apply that information to the maps. i must run out to my car twice a day to pick at some of the correctional maps such as water temp, crank, and air temp.

The only thing I think it is lacking is outside variables such as ambient air temp, barometric pressure, humidity and the like. Other than that the units is kick ***!!

Im still trying to figure out how to get my A/C to work (properly) and I cant get my BAC to work from the ecu's output. This is pretty minor stuff though.

I thought the BAC wasn't needed with a microtech?

my BAC is just sitting there becuase i have no block off plate and i still have the coolant routed into it, front water pump->bac->rear rotar..

soo yeah it isn't needed, i got my car running with the hard idle screw (13bt) the hard idle screw behind the throttle body.
