tacho calibration

Ok ,i just fire up my 20b fd and i notice a difference in tacho reading ,when it is in idle i notice a difference at readings about 400rpm(laptop shows 850 and tacho 1200) and when i rev about 3500rpm the laptop shows 3500 and the tacho 4300 is it usual for fds or i have wired something wrong?can i calibrate the tacho with my laptop?
Thank you Dimitris

20 is basically a 6cyl mate, your tacho will be out,

im not sure if the FD tacho can be recalabrated, we have the same problem on a nissan 200sx we put a RB30 6cyl into
