Tach Reading / Trailing Spark

The tach reading in the car does not match that of the microtech. The tach reading in the car is about 1k lower then what it actually is.
In addition only one of my trailing coils is firing, my leading.
I read some things about the lt8 not being compatible with the ignitors of the trailing coil? with that said is it possible to get spark out of both with a modification?

I understand that my tach reading is from my trailing coil and that becasue only one is firing its not reading accurately.

It's a Microtech Lt8

My Wiring is correct.
Config screen is set to 4
I do not believe the ignitor is bad It came from a running car. And I have tested the ohms and it is in spec.

The car runs and drives decent, just needs the pedal to start when hot, and goes through spark plugs quickly. I just hate knowing that only 3 of my four plugs are firing.

umm use the tacho output wire for the lt8,, like every one else???
it is the blue /white on an MT8/Lt8/MTX/LTX

if you have the wire directly from only one trailing coil then its going to be half rpm, not hard to work that out
if the LT is firing the mazda base igniter ( known as two and toggle mode,, on the handset, s4 mode )
IE,, not firing the coils directly from internal igniter or xbox
and you have the stock tacho wire hooked to the stock tacho out on the coil , then tacho should be as before, normal

the confusion lays in that different models of microtech fire either wastespark with stock igniters ( two and toggle )

or wire directly to the coils themselves ( internal igniter or xbox ) in wastespark OR in sequential mode
and thus,, will be three igniter mode ( and the trailing coil is going to show half rpm )
or four igniter mode ( fully sequential ignition ) where any coil will show half rpm

pretty easy to pull the leads off and see that all the coils are indeed working just fine
