s4 wired microtech to s5

is this worth the trouble? i tried searching but got nowhere and usually all I do is search.

I have a blown s4 tII and am looking at an s5 and n/a shortblocks to broaden my possibilities of a donor motor. I know this has been asked before but I couldn't find it. I have a microtech lt10s with igbn wired up to my s4,
What needs to be done and what needs to be swapped to make this work with an s5 or n/a shortblock? Would it be easier to swap in a longblock?

thanks very much for your time,
dave

If you are just swapping the block then you have no dramas at all.
Everything will go like a s4.
But if your were swapping the whole thing. TPS and injector plugs need to be swapped over.
Other then that everything else should be straight fit.

The computer will work with a n/a motor no problems either.
Id stick with the s5 turbo motor.

the microtech is the same for s5/s4... no difference. You can setup the ecu to use the on/off tps or variable.
