?? re: dash unit vs. hand controller

First, I did search but everything seemed to be 2 years old. I'm thinking things have changed. I have the LT12 in a FD running a 20b single turbo setup. I'm not doing any tuning myself but trying to decide which unit to buy. Does either unit have data logging capability w/ the LT12 Is the hand controller bulky? ? Is there a way to mount the hand controller (like the commander for a PFC) or does it lay in the passenger seat. The dash unit looks cool but where would you mount it in and FD? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
