Questions about maps/injectors

My 91 TII has a stock engine/I/E setup for now (). I'm wondering, if I were to drop in 4x720cc injectors and change the setup on a laptop, would the microtech turn down the rates automatically to match the output of the 550cc? Or would I have to manually drop everything down presuming only the injectors are changed out.

Hope I didn't make that too confusing.

All injectors look basically the same to the computer. If you change your injectors, you must change your maps to suit. It should be possible to get hold of some ready-made maps for your setup very easily. Buy into the groupbuy and recieve them as part of the deal!

Is there a way for him to reduce the pulsewidth globally, or will each individual map point require adjustment?

From the software help file:

Mixtrm
The Mixture Trim function is used to make adjustments over the whole of the fuel curve. If the engine runs too rich or too lean all the time, use the Mixtrm function to make a "blanket" correction to the fuel curve. The range of adjustment is from -99% to +99%.

The Mixtrm is adjustable in 1% incrimants, its a very fine adjustment, makes life easy if you change injectors to just change this,
