question to all
i know this is ricerish or whatever. but how many of you guys can still backfire flame with a good tune? before i did the microtech it would always backfire when going from full throttle to closed. but then it also ran like ***. now it runs great but just kind of miss hear that backfire. maybe im just weird but meh.
flames out the exhaust aren't caused from backfires. they're caused from fuel loading up in the exhaust.
a backfire is when the charge gets ignited and goes "BACK" through the intake.
if you've got your heart set on flames, richen up the vacuum areas in the higher rpm's and turn the timing down. that'll get you some nice fire at the cost of economy.
