Pump pulse?

What do you guys have the pump pulse set at? I switched pump trigger to tps per AaronC and difference is very noticeable. Thanks! I do think my pulse is bit long at 7 possibly screwing up true AFR when I'm tuning. Or am I being paranoid? Do these pump function last milliseconds? Or a second or two?

basically you're tuning the pump pulse until the car works the best, so if 7 is too much try, 6 or 5, or 4. there isn't a "right" answer, as different setups will need different pump shots, and also it depends on the AFR to begin with. theoretically a car tuned leaner is going to want a little more pump shot than one tuned richer.

pump shot should last milliseconds, most ecu's are adjustable here, both in total fuel, and the duration of said fuel. also most ecu's have a setting for sensitivity to the throttle, if its too sensitive then it will be "on" all the time

Nice. Thanks. Any practical tips on how to tune for both the pump amount and pump pulse separately? I know what their do individually but how would you tune for either based on afr changes?

I suggest setting the pump pulse back to default and then tuning only the pump amount. Increase the pump pulse only if the amount isn't supplying enough fuel.
