Pricing an LTX12s
Hey guys whats up I was checking out rx7store.net for an LTX12s for my TII and they have the price at 1400 bucks USD i supposed. Then I checked microtech's own site and they have it for around 900 USD(used xe.com to convert) plus freight. Is freight going to be 500 bucks if I buy it from microtech?
Who has the wrong price or is rx7store trying to make a nice bit on the ltx12s? |
Why do you need a 12? Going 3 rotor?
|
No using a 6 injector setup.
and I like the wideband logging |
When I wanted a L12S, I was told there would be an extra charge(about $200) for configuring it to a 2 rotor turbo.
Check on that. You don't want any surprises |
if they pull that shat i'll tell them to suck my nuts.
|
I can get the LT8S delivered for about $875
|
are you a dealer?
|
No, I am not a dealer but my good friend is.

LTX12s $1,129.50 http://www.rickstilesracing.com/catalog/index.php
mine took a while to show up and as a matter of fact i have it today in my car (stopped at the PO during lunch today ) |
hmm I actually want the X model those are just LT12s I don't plan on using the stock coils.
Santiago |
its an ltx12s... its in my car sitting as my co-pilot right now.
good for either stock or aftermarket coils (i went bosch coil myselt) |
I am getting ready to order aLTX12s for my car, if @ all possible get it from Microtech they give discounts for overseas orders, I'm getting mine and 6 of their coils for CHEAP!!!
|
I got the LTX12, 4 bosch coils, and a Wideband O2 sensor for $1300. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
And there is no extra charge for setting it up for a 2 rotor. Unless you're going to run 6 injectors and only 4 coils like this guy is saying (i'm assuming). There is a setup option to designate how many cylinders/rotors you are running. It goes from 1 to 8....why the range is set like that i dont know. But for a 2 rotor you put it at 4, for a 3 rotor you put it at 6. And I went with the 12 with my 2 rotor because of the price, and who knows....i just might want a 20B someday, and hey....i'm already setup (ECU wise) for it! |
just on another quick note and correct me if im wrong
the LTX8s can run some v8's (so the 5.o's and the ls-1's AND the lexus v8 should be covered also) and almost all I4's (a good example might be the sr20det or the the BP1.8 MX5). Oh and some v6's are controllable w/ the ltx8 too. " And I went with the 12 with my 2 rotor because of the price, and who knows....i just might want a 20B someday, and hey....i'm already setup (ECU wise) for it!" AllTheTime You got it all cover w/ the ltx12 all but a McLaren engine i think :) |
I'm waiting for the self-tunning LT-16 to be released.
|
more info?
|
|
the links to the LT16 were dead
|
|
yea it works now. Apparantly they are behind schedule on releasing it :)
