Please help with ltx-8 fuel problems

Hey wants up everyone? I just installed my microtech LTX-8 and I'm having a problem with fuel. Its a 88 turbo Rx-7 engine with a stock port, walbro pump,550 and 1000 secondaries and a t04r turbo. It does run but very rough and the smell of gas and the smoke is bad. You can see the gas coming out of the exhaust side of the turbo. Is there a way I could have wired it so the 1000cc's are the primaries? If so is there a easy way to check it or a way I could tell? I was going to look into getting a fpr but was told I didn't need one until about 400 hp is that true? Any ideas?
Thanks everyone
Kevin

You can check the wiring diagram and make sure that the proper colour wires are at the primaries. If I am correct, it's orange but confirm that to make sure as these things are easy to forget.

If it's wired correctly, you may have a stuck injector. Pressurize the system and see if fuel comes firing out of an injector (you'll need to pull the upper intake).

Otherwise, it's just way too rich. Pull some fuel from the map.
