When adjusting fuel in the water map table, should I see an instant change on my air/fuel gauge?

I'm using an Innovate LM-1 to view the air fuel ratio.
With the car idling, I'm using the laptop software to adjust the water map for the water temperature that it indicates the car is currently at.

It doesn't seem like the a/f ratio is changing, but I assumed it would.

 

Yes, within half a second or so you should see a change. But it may take 10% to produce an obvious change. And remember that you should always adjust the bins next to the main bin you are adjusting a little as well, to keep a smooth transition.
