mounting ecu

ive heard some whispers that microtechs should be mounted directly to the chassis so that the ecu gets grounded to reduce "noise"
is there any truth to this ? i have mine mounted on a peice of mdf up under the footwell...

Unknown, but I mounted mine in the same spot as the old ecu. screwed it directly to one of the stock ecu mounting brackets. Seemed like the logical spot for it.
