Microtech Memcal HELP

Hey guys

I am wanting to have a play around with my microtech (microtech LTX8) settings and I thought it would be a good idea to save the current setup to the memcal 1 section, so if I bugger it up I can go back and load the current setup. Though when I try and save the current setup nothing happens, in the manual it says ‘scroll to the save to memcal1 screen and double click the mode button. The handset is then meant to display the message programming eprom. Though when I double click the mode button nothing happens. I have tried double clicking fast and double clicking slow and nothing happens L Is it possible that this function has been diabled? If so how do I enable it as I really would like to save the current tune before I play around. Thoughts

Any help appreciated

Cheers

Lance

Dunno about the handset, but on the laptop versions, you have to hold down the button until the display blinks.

hey dude,

thanks for the reply,

I worked it out, because i am running the LTX8 computer with an MT hand controller, it won't let you save to the hand crontroller, you have to either have the laptop, plugged in where i beleive it saves the memcal to the little dongle, Or you need the LT hand conrtoller.

cheers
