MicroTech LT9C Matrix Mode Issues

All,

I am having a very basic issue tuning the Microtech LT9C. I can view matrix mode on the laptop, but i am unable to type values into the cells? Is there a trick or hot key of any kind?

i have to change it from normal mode to matrix in on page 1 if i remember correctly.
