Microtech diffrence, diffrent engines

Is there any hardware diffrence between a lt8s configured for one type of engine versus one configured for another type?

Or is it just the values in the software, that I can change myself?

I want to reconfigure a lt8s that is configured for a Nissan engine, to work with a Lexus v8. I got all the values. (dwell type, dwell, input trig, output trig and so on)

Thanks!

well since the ECU is built to use the STOCK sensors, you would have to swap nissan's sensors on the lexus

I can be wrong though...

You cannot use a engine specific Microtech onto another engine. It's not something you can load such as the Haltech, Motec etc.
It requires a whole new board which only Microtech Australia can do.

Wao, this is revealing, i had no idea that the Microtechs where that picky. That just makes my conviction about Haltechs even stronger.
