LT8s question

hi, i just have a simple question and forgive my ignorance if it is a stupid question. i want to know if i have to buy the ignition module to run the ignition on my car???? im asking because i only know of the ltx8 and the ltx8 don't need anything just plug and go. im getting a good offer on an LT8s, the ems is brand new and the person is asking 700$$$ not bad i think???. so i gotta now everything before i make a move.

no you don't

the stock FC or FD coils have built in igniters
even if the ecu it selt has a built in igniter you can disable the coils igniters

i believe what he means is a timing computer, i heard the early LT8s ECUs did not have a timing computer but the later ones did, i installed one that did have timing control or maybe it was just an option you could have added, i don't know.
