Injector ms stuck at max
Hey everyone, I have a 13B Turbo II with big streetport, walbro fuel pump, stock primaries and 1650cc secondaries. We recently had the engine out of the car, and we finally got it put back together last night. It turned over fine, but wouldn't start. Modulating the throttle helped a bit, and we had one huge backfire but that was about it. After trying to start for maybe ~15m or so, we noticed that there was fuel leaking out the exhaust. Yea, very weird. I went back through the logs and it seems like even though the fuel table was set to around ~4ms for cranking conditions, the digital gauge on the microtech laptop software was showing the injectors at 12.4ms, which is the maximum value on the fuel table. Not sure what would be causing this, we tried lowering fuel trim and adjusting the corrections factors for fuel (water temp, IAT) but it stayed at 12. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Yeah, Ive done this.
When an injector was put in it was crooked and the tip got smooshed into the injector air bleed. When the pintle opened it got stuck against the pintle cap and couldnt retract, allowing a constant stream of gas.
