ignition upgrade

I have lt10 with stock FD ignition setup
& colder plugs,

after 7k rpm starts braking up
with 15 psi boost @ around 440whp

what will be the best ignition setup
for 500whp with higher boost,

coils, spark plugs, plug wires etc.
to run with microtech

thanx in advance

Prefered setup is Lt10s x4box 2 bosch hec 715 coil packs and 2X crane hi-6 boxes with lx92 coil packs.

The above setup proven to over 750rwhp.

What afrs are you running over 7000rpm.

Power is definitely still rising. So yes their is more power available.
Also once you put the CDI on you can put things like water injection, and tune for more boost and put a more agressive tune in it.

rx72c,

can I use the Hi 6 boxes & lx92 coils without the x4 box,

run the stock trailing just upgrade the leading for now

and later when i decide to up the boost I can upgrade the trailing to,

and do i need to retune my lt10 or I can just wire them in and go,

thanx again

I am not sure whether you can run the crane hi-6 off the factory ignitor. or straight off the microtech. sorry i cannot help you with this.

Once they are in. You will need to go back to the dyno and refine the tune and squeeze more out of it.
