Idle in cold wrong, idle in hot well

I have a problem, my engine costs a little to start in cold, just turn the idle is at 1100 rpm and if I do not keep it accelerated to 1500 rpm it goes off, already when passing the 65 degrees the idle is in 1500 and stands alone No problem, cold that I have to make put more gasoline for the rpm to increase and remove gas?

Do you have any way to measure air/fuel ratio?

How does the engine die? Does it hunt RPMs up and down, or does it gradually bog down until it stalls?
